Taking the guise of an ordinary Keeper of the Moon, Helene Esmera is actually a very old kitsune with eight tails. She has spent much of her life on the move, not spending much time even in her native Hingashi. Her reasons for moving so much? She tends to keep them to herself, but it's believed its all in the hopes of breaking a centuries old curse on someone she loves. Since coming to Eorzea several decades ago, she has become a priestess of Menphina and she tends to a shrine to the Lover deep within the forest of the Shroud.
